The season is winding down! Get caught up with our recap of The Glee Project Season Two!
The Glee Project cast meets together with Robert for the first time!
The first theme of the week is Individuality, and Lea Michele is the first guest mentor of the season!
Shanna is chosen as the season's very first homework winner!
- Everyone has a lot of fun dressing up for the rockstar part of the music video shoot!
- The first bottom three set is chosen.
Unfortunately, Maxfield is the first to be sent home.
We’ll miss you, Maxfield!
Week two is Dancability week! All of the contestants are super excited!
- Well, not all of them. Some are a bit nervous (but they’re up for the challenge!).
Taryn gets a bit frustrated with the other contestants.
Homesick, Taryn calls her mom.
Robert announces to the group that Taryn decided to leave the competition. However, the show must go on!
Samuel Larson is the guest mentor for Dancability week!
Abraham is the homework assignment winner!
Charlie and Aylin flirt. Is there a relationship on the horizon?
Charlie isn’t happy.
But then Aylin kisses him, too!
At the music video shoot, Zach is really unhappy with the performance of the contestants. He doubts they even practiced their moves!
Erik isn’t happy, either.
- A bottom three is chosen.
Dani is the second contestant to be sent home. Goodbye, Dani! We know you'll go on to do great things.
The theme of week three is Vulnerability!
Cory Monteith is the guest mentor!
Erik talks to the group and asks them to open up about times in their lives where they experienced bullying.
Shanna tells the group that she was taunted as a child because her mother had done drugs.
Lily admits that in middle school, SHE was the bully.
Charlie makes a bad acting choice during the video shoot.
- The bottom three is decided.
Lily lets herself be extremely vulnerable in front of the mentors.
After Mario's performance, he makes a snide comment about the other contestants.
- Surprise! The judges thought that everyone in the bottom three had done so well that they all were given a second chance!
Nellie isn’t ashamed to admit that she is a bit nervous for Sexuality week!
Naya Rivera is the guest mentor!
Naya picks Charlie as the week’s homework assignment winner.
Charlie likes taking other people’s jobs! This proves to be a problem on set.
Despite being nervous about the theme, Nellie is first on the callback list!
Tyler is sent home. He will not be forgotten!
Charlie and Aylin decide to put their relationship aside and, for the time being, just be friends.
The theme of the week is Adaptability!
- The contestants are told they will be singing the homework song as a solo. No one was expecting THAT!
Aylin is chosen as the homework winner!
- The contestants learn their choreography on set- a true test of their adaptability skills!
Aylin is first on the callback list. She did a great job this week!
- The group is narrowed down to six. The contestants are told they will all be singing duets for Ryan.
Charlie and Mario put a lot of heart into their performance.
In the end, the judges decided it was Mario’s time to go. But he left without tears, and with his signature smile. What a great guy!
The contestants are thrilled when Robert announces that Jane Lynch will be the guest mentor for Fearlessness week!
Jane Lynch is such a fun mentor!
Lily is selected as the homework winner.
Aylin is not thrilled. She thought that SHE deserved to win.
Nellie is nervous for Fearlessness week.
Charlie and Aylin have a heart to heart and decide to get back together.
Lily OWNS the video shoot! She looks and sounds great!
Ali has a scary moment on set. She pushes past her fears and decides to get slushied (though it’s not good for her body), and momentarily can’t breathe!
But Ali is a trooper, and is soon all smiles! We’re so happy she’s okay!
Lily is told she is one of the first names on the callback list.
Alongside Ali! Ali was the essence of Fearlessness this week.
The bottom three is chosen. Aylin and Charlie have to compete against each other!
Aylin reads the callback list.
Unfortunately, it was Charlie’s time to go home.
Without Charlie to mellow her out, Aylin gets frustrated with the contestants during Theatricality week.
Grant Gustin guest mentors and he chooses Ali as the homework winner. She’s so excited; this is her first win!
Michael continues to struggle in the vocal booth.
Nikki asks Abraham a question that brings up bad memories and really upsets him.
Shanna looks great. You can’t even tell that she was sick to her stomach during the shoot!
Ali is first on the callback list.
This week was Nellie's turn to go home. She will be sorely missed!
Ali is glad to find out that the theme of the week is Tenacity. She is very familiar with the word, considering her life motto is “never give up!”
Amber Riley is the guest mentor!
The Glee Project contestants look great during their performance.
Ali is chosen as homework winner! She’s so thankful for her second win in a row!
In the booth, Lily's voice is a bit overpowering.
- The contestants have a tough road ahead of them- the music video will be shot in just ONE take, and if anyone messes up, they will ALL have to start over!
- The jump-rope group has some trouble on-set.
Abraham falls and twists his ankle. Some of the other contestants think he is exaggerating his injury.
Ali has some trouble shooting the final basket, but Shanna encourages her to keep trying.
Michael, Abraham, and Lily will be performing for Ryan this week.
Abraham returns to the stage after his performance to tell Ryan that he is NOT leaving until he wins The Glee Project!
Unfortunately, his plan backfires. Ryan tells Abraham that he doesn’t care about his attitude, he cares about his performance.
Ali and Shanna are thrilled that the theme of the week is Romanticality!
Lily and Aylin are paired together and secretly decide to kiss during the homework assignment.
- Unfortunately, the guest mentor didn’t think the kiss went over well.
Blake is named this week’s homework assignment winner!
Michael has a great week in the studio!
Blake, unfortunately, struggled a bit.
Aylin and Shanna are told that their performance looks unnatural.
Blake, Aylin, and Shanna are put in the bottom three together. Who would have thought?
After performing, Shanna tells Ryan that she is very upset that she is in the bottom three and Michael is not.
Ryan likes Shanna's fire, and tells her she needs to show even more of it if she is called back.
In the end, though, the judges decided it was Shanna's time to leave. What a curveball! Well, Shanna will surely go on to be very successful. We'll miss you, Shanna!
Michael is very happy to be the only one who knows the Actability homework assignment song. Hopefully this will give him an advantage in the competition!
- During the homework assignment, the contestants are shown note cards and are instructed to act out different emotions.
Michael really shines during this homework assignment!
Michael wins his first homework assignment!
- The judges announce that ALL of the contestants will be performing for Ryan.
- Not only will they have to face Ryan, but they will also have to impress the other five writers for the show!
- The atmosphere is tense as the contestants wait for the callback list to be put up.
- Wow, TWO contestants will be sent home this week!
Blake, Aylin, and Ali are SO grateful to have made it all the way to the finale of The Glee Project!
- The fact that the theme of the week is Glee-ality is making everything SO much more real!
Robert has some surprise back-up vocals come in… all of the past contenders from season two!
Chris Colfer is the final guest mentor of The Glee Project season two!
- The group performs and they sound GREAT!
The contenders did such a great job, Chris tells them that they are ALL the homework winners!
The contenders enjoy their last group session of choreography. They are so thankful for all of the guidance Zach has given them.
- On the set of the music video, the judges give their final critiques and compliments.
And, surprise, there is a guest appearance in the music video- Damian, one of The Glee Project season one winners!
The contenders tell Robert their final performance song choices and they get ready to perform.
- All of their friends and mentors are there to cheer them on!
Ali sounds FANTASTIC!

Blake reads a poem and exposes his sensitive side.
Aylin sounds amazing!
- The writers and actors of Glee discuss their opinions of the contenders.
When the others seem to dismiss Aylin’s performance, Charlie immediately speaks up for her.
- Ryan has a tough decision to make!
Ryan gets ready to announce the winner of The Glee Project season two.
- Everyone is so nervous!
- And the winner is…
