Episode 210: Actability

The remaining five contestants are anxious to find out what the second to last theme of the week will be.
Aylin is SUPER excited that the theme is Actability!
Michael is thrilled with the song choice. He is the only contestant who is familiar with it, and he is excited to use this advantage and show the mentors his best work.
The group practices their Actability!
Robert tells the group that the guest mentor of the week is an extremely talented actor…
Who could it be?
The guest mentor is Dianna Agron!
The competitors are SO excited to meet Dianna!
Robert announces that there will be a special twist to this week’s homework assignment…
Dianna and Robert will be showing the contestants notecards with emotions on them, and they will have to improve accordingly.
Michael is a really good actor!
Lily gets a difficult emotion to portray…
…but she pulls it off!
The contestants look great!
Dianna and Robert LOVED the performance.
Michael wins his first homework assignment!
The contestants find out that the music video this week will be a movie trailer!
Lily gets emotional in the studio.
On set, Erik just wants Lily to say a specific line, but she takes too long to reach it. Robert and Zach are concerned.
Ali is a GREAT actor!
So is Blake!
The judges talk about the performances of the contestants.
Michael receives some helpful acting advice from Dianna.
Michael and Blake fight! As directed, of course.
Aylin has an emotionally tolling moment as she puts on the headscarf she has rejected for so long.
But Aylin does an amazing job in the video!
The judges have a surprise announcement. There is no bottom three this week… because they are ALL performing for Ryan!
Some of the other show writers also attend the last chance performances!
Michael is the first to sing. Good luck, Michael!
Lily is up next. We think she sounds great, but what will the judges have to say?
Ali really impresses the crowd!
Blake gives a really fun performance!
Aylin is the last to sing. She has a lot of soul! Will Ryan reward it?
The contestants nervously await the callback list. This is a big moment for them- in just a few minutes they will know who has made it all the way to the finale!
Robert tells the group that it is time to check the callback list.
The contestants are all crossing their fingers.
Who will go home?
Lily reads the callback list.
Michael reads the callback list.
Michael, unfortunately, is not called back.
And neither is Lily! Woah!
Michael and Lily comfort each other.
It’s a bittersweet moment for the remaining contestants!
