Michael tells Blake that he's worried that he's being compared to Blake.
Blake listens, but tells Michael that it's okay because they are two entirely different people.
Michael and Blake are frustrated because they are friends, but also competitors.
Robert enters the house. He asks the group what it's like without Charlie.
Ali tells Robert that the house has gotten quieter- but not in a good way!
Robert tells the contestants that the theme of the week is Theatricality, and everyone is extremely happy.
Michael is nervous because he doesn't know the homework song, "I Hope I Get It."
Lily acts as head choreographer. Theatricality is HER week!
Aylin is starting to get annoyed with Lily. Without Charlie there to calm her down, will a fight break out?
Robert gets ready to bring in this week's guest mentor.
- Everyone tries to get a glimpse of who it could be!
It's Grant Gustin!
The group begins to sing for Grant. Will he like the performance?
Shanna sounds great!
Lily is a great actress, and stands out even when she's singing with the group!
Ali is a natural star!
The group finishes their performance. Grant and Robert are extremely impressed!
Grant suggests to Nellie that she be more confident when she performs. This isn't the first time Nellie has gotten this note; will she take it to heart this week?
Lily is told that she is an incredibly funny and talented person!
Ali is told she is the homework winner and she is thrilled! This is the first homework assignment that she has won!
Grant announces the music video song: "When I Grow Up" by the Pussycat Dolls!
- The contestants find out that they will each be given pop superstar alter egos.
The group begins to rehearse their choreography. Zach stresses that they HAVE to perform better than they did during Danceability week!
Lily feels like she was given a bit more of a challenge than the other girls because Cyndi Lauper doesn't have set-in-stone moves.
- The group practices their moves!
In the studio, Michael tells Nikki that he followed her advice from the previous week and didn't practice his lines very much so that he wouldn't overthink them in the booth.
Michael doesn't hit all of his notes.
Abraham is upset by this question. He was teased a lot when he was growing up, and it really seemed like an unnecessary question.
Ali gets ready for the video shoot.
Shanna is shown her meat dress.
Shanna looks… just like Lady Gaga!
Ali asks Grant how he would suggest making a pop song theatrical.
Ali does a great job on set.
Michael nails his scene in one shot!
It takes Nellie a couple of tries to act the way she needs to act for her scene.
The smell of Shanna's dress is making her nauseas, but she doesn't let it get to her!
- The contestants act as grocery store clerks for the music video.
Ali and Nellie look just like Katy Perry and Britney Spears!

- The group get ready for feedback.
Ali is told that she was the shining star of the week- and she is first on the callback list!
Michael is told that he needs to be more confident. Nikki also tells him that he took his note from last week too far… But Michael was just trying to follow her advice!
Nellie has the same confidence issue. But Robert tells her that he knows that acting as Britney Spears was a challenge for her, and he understands.
Zach tells Nellie he feels like he's begging her to stay on the show.
Abraham explains that the reason he was off this week was because Nikki's androgynous question really upset him.
Zach tells Lily that she didn't incorporate enough Cyndi Lauper into her acting.
Nellie, Abraham, and Lily are told they will be doing last chance performances.
Lily prepares to sing for Ryan.
Abraham practices his notes.
Nellie is nervous. Will she impress the judges?
Nellie performs for the judges and sounds amazing! Awesome job, Nellie!
- Ryan tells her that she sounded wonderfully passionate, but that the repetition of her indecisiveness worries him.
Nellie tells the judges that she's worried that she is going to set herself up for disappointment.
- But Ryan tells her it's okay because she did a great job!
Abraham performs and sounds fantastic!
Abraham tries to suck up to Ryan but Ryan will not have it- he tells him to drop the diva.
Abraham explains why the word "androgynous" upset him.
Abraham tells the judges that he has thought about it, and he is going to try to be more accepting about who he is.
Lily is the last to perform.
Lily sings, "Someone Like You" by Adele, and she sounds REALLY good!
Zach tears up as she sings. She sounds wonderful!
- Ryan tells her that he loved her performance, but he felt like she didn't act very well in the music video.
Lily tells him she was confused by what she should have been portraying. She says she got conflicting notes.
- Ryan tells her he's bored with her excuses.
Lily tells the judges that the reason she fights with them is because it's all she's ever known.
- The contestants are all extremely nervous to see the callback list.
Robert puts up the callback list.
Unfortunately, every week someone must go home. This week, it was Nellie's turn. She is extremely upset, but we all know that she will go on to do wonderful things!
Nellie sings “Keep Holding On.”
